Before we leave on the trip of a lifetime I wanted to take the time to say Thank You!
Thank you for your support, prayers, gifts and words of encouragement. We are a blessed family. It is exciting to see God use each one of you in Helping Bring Timur Home! You are very much a part of this journey we are on. Thank You for your responses today. They kept me on track and focused as I continued to take care of last min. preparations. Since this is now a private blog, invited members only, I feel like I can share my heart more freely. Our adoption story is our own, each one is different. We could not be more blessed to be on our way to rescuing a little boy with Down Syndrome who will be celebrating his 3rd birthday this Sunday. I am truly amazed that God would allow us this privilege. With that said, many of you have been praying for this process, from the very beginning until now. Thank You for your faithfulness. As you know we stood at the foot of a mountain this past week, financially. We were given a short amount of time to get our affairs in order and accept their invitation to come rescue our son. This is the day we have been waiting for. We have been blessed by many of you and we humbly say Thank You from the bottom of our hearts. Thank You for sacrificing so we could continue this journey. We were expecting a miracle! We do not believe God has brought us this far "to drop us off." We continue to believe it is God's will for our family to bring Timur home. It may not be the way we had planned but it is His plan. We ask that you pray that the Lord would continue to bless our efforts so we can pay off the loan we acquired to complete this adoption. I would love to come home in 4-5 weeks and there be a check waiting for us reading, PAID in FULL! God knows we can not afford a payment along with a new child. I have to continue to leave this at His feet. Please join me in prayer as I leave this burden for Him and enjoy one of the most meaningful times of my life and the lives of my family. Thank You for continuing to follow with us and may the journey continue...

Less than 24 hours...WOO HOO!!! I hope you all sleep well tonight and get a good start to your day tomorrow! Don't worry...all will be fine!!! Just one day at a time...you'll be back home before you know it!!! (((HUGS)))

We'll be praying for you all and Timur too. Wow...you will be gone 4-5 weeks?... This will be an education for me on the whole process of adopting. We are praying that everything will go smoothly during your flight and that God would orchestrate every step of the way the moment you step off the plane. How FANTASTIC to be there and meet him on his 3rd birthday!
